Deer Hunts
Our deer hunts are done mostly by spotting and stalking. We will drive timber when we have enough people hunting. Patience is needed for deer hunting, and if you have that, success is likely. We hunt our private ranch, forests, sagebrush canyons, and heavy blow-down timber. The elevation hunted varies from 7,000 ft. to 10,800 ft. A good set of binoculars and/or spotting scope and a flat-shooting long-range gun are recommended. We hunt many different places under the Region D tag.
Deer Only: $2,400 (4 days hunting by 4x4-pickup)
Deer and Antelope Combo: $3,400 (4 days of hunting)
Elk Only: $3,700 (5 day hunt Archery & Rifle - pack in trip add 2 days for packing in/out)
Cow Only: $1,800 (4 day hunt from the ranch in 4x4)
Elk and Antelope Combo: $4,700 (5 days of hunting)
Antelope Only: $1,500 (3 days of hunting by 4x4 pickup)
Youth hunters on ALL HUNTS receive HALF-PRICE when accompanied by a paying adult.
Elk tags: GEN tag (General) -- applications accepted Jan 1st, deadline is Jan. 31st, draw is Feb. 21st
Deer tags: Region D -- application deadline is March 15th, draw is June 21st
Antelope tags: Area 52 or Area 50, type 1 -- application deadline is March 15th, draw is June 21st

Our guests are welcome to bring campers or RVs to our house where they can connect to water and electricity. Otherwise, we can recommend motels or hotels in town.
